What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide. The moissanite in our jewellery is created in a laboratory. It rates 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale and has a refractive index of 2.65 to 2.69, which gives it a bright sparkle. Our Moissanite Guide explains more.
Is moissanite a diamond?
No. Moissanite is not a diamond. It is a different gemstone: a diamond is made of carbon, moissanite of silicon carbide. Moissanite has more fire (rainbow flashes) and is slightly less hard than a diamond, at 9.25 on the Mohs scale against 10. We never present our stones as diamonds.
Do your stones come from a meteorite?
No. Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by the chemist Henri Moissan in a meteorite crater in Arizona, which inspired our name. Natural moissanite is extremely rare. The moissanite we use is created in a laboratory.
What size are the stones in the bracelet?
Each stone is 2 mm, claw set along the whole bracelet: 63 stones in 16 cm, 67 in 17 cm and 71 in 18 cm.
Do you provide a grading report?
No. Our moissanite is not sold with a grading report.
The silver
What metal is the bracelet made of?
925 sterling silver, stamped 925 and rhodium-plated. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver, alloyed with other metals for strength.
Will it tarnish?
The silver is rhodium-plated for a bright white finish that resists tarnish. To keep it at its best, avoid chlorine, perfume and creams, store it in a closed pouch and wipe it with a soft cloth. See our care guide.
I have sensitive skin. Can I wear it?
Most people wear sterling silver without any problem. If you have a known allergy to a specific metal, please ask us before ordering.
Sizing
How do I choose my length?
Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone and add 1.5 to 2 cm. The bracelet comes in 16 cm (6.3 in), 17 cm (6.7 in) and 18 cm (7.1 in). See the size guide.
Can I exchange for another size?
Measure your wrist with our size guide: it takes a minute. Unsure? Write to us before you order and we will help you choose. We do not accept returns for change of mind, including a wrong size.
Shipping
Where do you ship from?
Your order ships direct from our partner workshop. Starfall is an online brand operated from Geneva, Switzerland, by Prevalya Sàrl.
How long does delivery take?
Dispatched in 1 to 3 business days. Delivery usually 5 to 11 days, occasionally up to 3 weeks. Tracked.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free across Australia. The price shown is the total you pay: no extra fees at checkout.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order by 12 December for delivery before Christmas (most orders). Delivery dates are estimates and a small number of parcels take longer.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Not at the moment. We ship to Australian addresses only.
How do I track my order?

Returns and warranty
What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?
Send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will refund or replace it, with no need to send it back.
Do you accept change-of-mind returns?
No. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Is there a warranty?
Yes: 12 months on the stones and the clasp. Normal wear, knocks and damage from chemicals are not covered. Details on our shipping, returns and warranty page.
Payment and gifts
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed securely; we never see your card details.
Are taxes or duties added?
No. All our prices are under 1,000 AUD and include free shipping. Nothing is added at checkout or on delivery.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes. Add a free gift note in your cart. We do not offer gift wrapping.
